BUCOREL Contributor and Content Licensing Policy

BUCOREL allows users to contribute public data, posts, comments, suggestions, and structured content. This policy explains your rights as a contributor and the license you grant to BUCOREL for displaying and sharing your content.
1. Who This Policy Applies To
- Any user submitting content (text, data, comments, files) to BUCOREL
- Verified publishers and institutional contributors
- API users uploading data via automated tools or integrations
2. Your Rights
You retain full ownership of the original content you submit to BUCOREL. This includes:
- Your posts, comments, tags, metadata, and structured listings
- Visuals or files uploaded with proper rights
- Any original datasets or insights you share
By contributing, you simply grant BUCOREL a license to use and display your content.
3. License You Grant BUCOREL
Unless otherwise stated, you grant BUCOREL a:
- Worldwide
- Non-exclusive
- Royalty-free
- Sub-licensable and transferable
- Irrevocable license (until deletion)
This license allows BUCOREL to:
- Display, format, and index your content
- Store and back up your content across regions
- Share content via APIs, webhooks, or syndication with attribution
- Use your content in search results, filters, or derived summaries
4. Optional Public Licensing
If you are a verified contributor or wish to share under a public license (e.g., Creative Commons, Open Government License, or MIT-style license), you may:
- Label your content or dataset accordingly
- Include a license notice in the description or metadata
- Contact our team for assistance in setting license tags
5. Content You Must Not Submit
- Content you do not have the rights to license or share
- Confidential or private data (e.g., Aadhaar, bank account details)
- Content containing copyrighted material without permission
- Personal attacks, defamation, or hate speech
6. Attribution and Fair Use
BUCOREL may attribute your content using:
- Your public username or organization name
- Any license tags or titles provided with the content
Where content is re-used publicly, BUCOREL will follow fair-use and licensing norms, and encourage downstream users to do the same.
7. Revoking or Deleting Content
- You may delete your own content at any time if allowed by platform rules
- BUCOREL may retain backups or audit logs for a limited time
- Public domain or open-licensed content may continue to be shared after removal if permitted under the license
8. Violations and Enforcement
If content is found to violate copyright law, platform rules, or licensing terms, BUCOREL may:
- Remove the content with or without notice
- Suspend or restrict contributor privileges
- Assist rights holders in investigation or resolution
