BUCOREL Children and Minor Protection Policy
Effective Date: Jun 12, 2025
BUCOREL is committed to protecting the rights and safety of children and minors. This policy outlines our approach to age restrictions, content safety, data handling, and our response procedures regarding underage users or child-related content.
1. Minimum Age Requirement
BUCOREL is intended for users who are at least 18 years old, unless otherwise permitted by local law.
- In India, users must be 18 years or older.
- In other countries, the applicable legal age of digital consent applies (e.g., 13–16 under GDPR).
- We do not knowingly collect data from users below the minimum age.
2. Age Verification
We do not require formal identity verification for general users but reserve the right to request proof of age if:
- There is reason to believe a user is underage.
- We receive a report of underage activity or violation of this policy.
3. Account Termination for Underage Users
Accounts found to be created or used by underage individuals may be:
- Temporarily suspended pending verification.
- Permanently deleted if the user is found to be under the minimum legal age.
- Purged of all associated personal data as per our deletion policies.
4. Content Related to Children
We take extra precautions for any content involving children or minors:
- Sexually explicit or exploitative content involving minors is strictly prohibited and will be reported to appropriate authorities.
- Photographs or data involving children must follow applicable laws and must not endanger or expose minors.
- Educational or public-interest content involving minors must be factual, respectful, and legally sharable.
5. Mandatory Reporting
We will report suspected cases of child abuse, exploitation, or trafficking to the relevant legal authorities. This includes:
- Illegal content found on BUCOREL.
- Verified reports from users, NGOs, or law enforcement.
- Technical indicators of abusive behavior involving minors.
6. Community Responsibilities
BUCOREL relies on community participation to ensure safety:
- Flag any content that appears to involve or endanger minors.
- Do not post pictures, names, or personal details of children without clear public interest and appropriate consent.
- Misuse of child-related content for political, social, or commercial manipulation is not allowed.
7. Platform Design Considerations
We make platform-level efforts to protect minors:
- We do not display or encourage content targeting underage users.
- No direct messaging or chat functions are enabled by default for public profiles.
- Content filters and moderation tools are used to detect potentially inappropriate materials.
